The Fall Festival Chili Cook Off is led by Wallace Community Church.

The Rules and need to know information:
- True chili is defined as any kind of meat, cooked with chili peppers and various other spices. Other ingredients such as beans may be used at the discretion of the cook.
- Cooks may be an individual, family, group or business. NO ENTRY FEE.
- Please have your roaster of chili to the Community Hall by 5:15 p.m.
- Please bring a sign with name of your chili to display on your table.
- Each contestant must cook 1 electric roaster (3 gallons) of chili. Please bring a power strip.
- Water, tea, crackers, salt and pepper, and paper products will be provided.
- Each team will be in charge of serving the chili to the public, please bring ladles.
- The public will vote and people’s choice will be awarded with a cash reward. $50 and $25 Runner Up
- The public will be served from 5:30- 7 p.m. $5 for adults and $2 for Age 4-10 including dessert.
- Cleanup should be complete by 8:00 p.m.
This year the chili cook off proceeds will go toward the Wallace Community Church 2023 Mission's Trip. In June of 2023, a team from Wallace Community Church is headed to Khun Han, Thailand. There we will be working with Compassion International and a local Christian and Missionary Alliance Church while teaching English in several rural schools.
